Our sweet boy

At home, Gavin’s creativity blossomed. He could lose hours in the world of gaming with friends, laughing loudly through shared victory and defeat. His curiosity was endless—he taught himself coding, built creations on the 3D printer, and continually dreamed up new projects to bring to life. Whether he was designing something futuristic or simply tinkering, he saw possibility everywhere. His favorite colors— red, and black—showed up in the things he made, the things he wore, and the things he loved.

Gavin cherished time with his family. Movie nights were a treasured ritual, where stories on the screen became shared memories. He loved spicy foods—sometimes the hotter the better—and he found pride in pushing himself physically, especially during trips to the gym with his dad. Running cross country gave him another outlet for his determination and grit, qualities that shone through in everything he tried. And when he wanted to unwind, he turned to anime, immersing himself in worlds full of courage, loyalty, and heart—values he carried in his own quiet, powerful way.

Though his life was far too short, Gavin filled his years with passion, laughter, and love. He touched people deeply—with his bravery, his humor, his gentleness, and his unshakeable sense of justice.
